A labor of love...
Banished Stone is a labor of love, crafted from the ground up by Daniel Paull A.K.A Decius, a prolific developer of games that no one has heard of or if they have heard of them they wouldn't admit it in public circles.
For over 20 years he has put his heart and soul into developing various games, including Lands of Hope (Forlorn Hope), Lands of Hope Redemption, Infinitum Vitas and many more games lost to time. Where are these games now? With the exception of Lands of Hope which is now being actively developed by a another arguably more gifted individual they have all been lost to time.
So here we are, the year is 2025 and for the past 18 months he has been working on Banished Stone, rather than attempt another MMORPG (read that as instant failure for the win) he has decided to go with something a little less ambitious but hopefully none the less enjoyable.
So after much word salad, welcome to Banished Stone a singleplayer Action RPG available solely via Steam for PC/Windows computers.
Action RPG
Explore the ridge, meet interesting challenges, face monsters within and without.
Changing World
Walk, Run, Fly or Swim through the world. Alter the Day or Night at whim using items.
Quests
Perform quests for NPCs, solve the riddle of your Father's murder and the Company.
Bounties
Collect bounties on other wanted criminals (bosses), and monsters.
Pets
Certain critters need a helping hand, help them out and you'll unlock them as pets.
Fast Travel
Instantly travel to unlocked areas using the M (Map) screen.

Below you will find a list of all the key mappings for Banished Stone.
WASD - Movement
Move North (W), West (A), South (S) or East (D).
` - Game Menu
Access the game menu.
F - Toggle Fly Mode
Where available switch between fly and walk mode.
I - Inventory
Access your inventory screen.
M - Map Screen
View the map screen and all the places you have unlocked.
SPACE - Interact
Allows you to interact with highlighted NPC, Monster, Object or Thing. Pressing SPACE with nothing highlighted will cause the game to auto-detect the closest thing and highlight it. A second press of SPACE may then interact with it.
X - Execute/Close
Executes the X key power when in combat, or when out of combat closes active window.
0 to 9 - Use Power/Ability/Item
Uses whatever is bound to that key in the power bar.
Q - Quests
Open your quest journal.
L - Log screen
Open your log screen.
P - Powers
Open your powers screen.
C - Skills
Open your skills screen.
